Mr. Lawrance Liang is a former country head of ING
Bank in Taiwan. In his 30 years of career, he has also served as country head of
several foreign banks such as Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Credit
Agricole Indosuez (CAI) and Commerzbank AG in Taiwan. Under his management, none
of the foreign banks had a bad debt. He is recognized as the longest-serving
country manager of foreign banks in Taiwan. Mr. Liang has built an extensive
network in the Pacific Rim, with senior business contacts of more than 2800
Taiwan Corporations, 200 Japanese subsidiaries and over 100 U.S. and European
subsidiaries in China, USA, Japan and Taiwan. He is proficient in creating sound
strategies, deals originations, and executing financial plans in challenging
situations.
Mr. Liang also served in various banking and financial associations as a director or director of such duties. He is one of the core members for the White Paper on the European Chamber of Commerce in Taipei and regular speaker in various conferences worldwide. Mr. Liang holds his bachelor degree in Accounting from a Taiwan university.
